Recently, Gibson Guitars has filed a lawsuit against PRS guitars because of the similarity of the Gibson Les Paul and the PRS singlecuts. I am sure I am not the only one who believes that Gibson has brought about this lawsuit to simply hurt PRS Guitars because they are Gibson’s biggest competition in the high end guitar market. There are too many other companies that make Les Paul look a likes for Gibson to say that this suit is simply about a guitar shape. Gibson is trying to beat their competition without competing. Their lawsuit has been filed on the wrong principal
